Experience:

My professional experience includes providing psychotherapy for individuals, couples, and families, and children in a variety of settings.  While working toward MFT licensure, I established and co-facilitated a  women’s domestic violence survivor group and a batterer’s intervention group.  My counseling experience also includes providing crisis intervention and mental health services for children, adults, and families that have been victimized by crime under the auspices of the California Victim Compensation Program.  Finally, I have experience providing counseling and therapeutic intervention for young adults with pervasive developmental disorders in a residential setting, including therapy for emotional disturbance, formulating skills to aid transition from residential to independent living, and leading groups focusing on problem solving, affect regulation, communication, and social skills.
